Sneaker Staff Picks
We’ve received some terrific sneakers for spring and summer. Let’s take a closer look at Vans SK8-Hi, Columbia Variant and Adidas Samba RM.
Vans SK8-Hi
Vans SK8-Hi was first released in 1978 under the name “Style 38”. At the time, SK8-Hi was groundbreaking in the world of skateboarding because it was the first silhouette that went over the ankle. This fresh colourway is a must for spring/summer together with the black jeans or denim shorts.
Adidas Samba RM
The Adidas Samba silhouette was first made in 1962 in connection with the FIFA World Cup. The shoe was updated at the beginning of the 70s with an upper made from suede and leather. Today, the silhouette is recognised as a classic.
This Samba RM has also gained a Boost midsole which is “packed inside” the classic Samba outer sole. This provides the shoe with a classic look but still has the best technology for amazing comfort.
Columbia Variant
Columbia are expert in running and trekking shoes, which are both currently very popular. The “casual look” is becoming more and more stylish with trail runners and here, this Columbia Variant is completely perfect. The upper is made from a breathable mesh that sits on a midsole using Columbia’s own PearlFoam technology. A shoe with amazing shape and comfort!
